Rapid Punk/HC with nice hooks, quick changes and to the point by keeping all the songs slightly over the minute mark. The vocals compliment the music nicely and this band has done a good job on their first release. The winner on this EP is “Divide y Venceras” which brings later FREZZE to mind, cool. (MS)

Si os gusta el Hardcore Punk 80´s rápido, con buenas guitarras y letras incisivas, no dejeis pasar este 7″ Ep por nada del mundo. 7 bombas de hardcore Punk ochentero a lo “SIN 34″ pero con ese sonido “Mallorca Punk” que tanto nos gusta.La agresiva voz de Maria junto los incendiarios riffs de Santi y la bateria de Chano os van a volver locos/as a todos/as y no parareis de pegar saltos hasta romperos la cabeza!!! HOLOCAUSTO POMADA – “Brain Cell Genocide” LP
Total fucking hateful skate-core straight from the mean streets of sunny Mallorca, Spain! These seven tracks were recorded over ten years ago (presumably in a pleasantly drunken haze) as a collaboration between two members of the Mallorca punk band BAD TASTE and Portland´s ambassador to the world Kelly H. (who´s been in every band ever). This shit is raw, fast and totally in love with POISON IDEA and Pomada (apparently a local concoction of gin and lemon juice that I need a bottle of, stat!). Lyrics cover poop, drinking and hating tourists, with a special emphasis on hating the fuck out of tourist, as the included cartoon of local punks puking on a tourist family so aptly demonstrates. I´d like to see this band (fat chance) but I´d be just a happy just getting shitfaced with ´em. Too bad this is just a project band, because they´d be huge. “I´m Against It!” is a fucking classic snotty hardcore song. (AU)

BICI HARDCÖRE.- “Es el Fin de la Era de a Pie” EP
Here we have eight tracks of Stripped-down raw punk from Spain with a D-beat flavor seasoned with a tiny bit of street-punk. All the songs are in Spanish (except “Bike Punk & Bike Hardcore”) and about being a punk, riding a bike and how cars and roadways fucking suck (agreed)… hence the name. The music is driving with some good simple solos and solid bass and drumming; the recording quality is blown-out to perfection but not over the top; the vocals are yelled with some “sing-y” parts in a good hardcore style rather than screamed, letting you hear all the words. There is a “re-imagined” version of a SIDA song. The beginning of the records has a sample of a lady viciously heckling a cyclist. Nothing too fancy here (unless you count the whistling on “Pinchazo de Mierda”), but a great, solid record nonetheless. The artwork is fucking rad – two skeletonised punks donning boots, bullet-belts and spiked jackets riding bikes, one of which is popping a wheelie. Good stuff and definitely worth checking out. (MB)

COP DE FONA – “Estafats I Traïts” EP
These Spanish punks have a sound that´s not too far off from LIMP WRIST or VOETSEK in their early days. Solid, screaming hardcore punk with some nice gang choruses and a busy bass player who lends an ´80s Euro HC touch to the proceedings. Five songs at 45 RPM that leave you wanting more. I´d definitely recommend picking this up if you´re into the whole No Way Records scene or if you have a taste for noncookie cutter ´80s revival hardcore. (AU)
